Choosing the best resolution for file uploads
Most screens have a resolution of 1920×1080 (Full HD) or 3840×2160 (4K).
To achieve the best looking results, match the resolution of your images and videos to the screens they will be displayed on.
Very high resolution images
The AbleSign player on your device is designed to play content of all sizes and resolutions. It will scale up/down any images to ensure they display correctly on your screen. For images with very high resolution, bear in mind this can take considerable memory which can cause problems on lower powered devices such as Chromecast or Firestick Lite.
4K videos
4K video playback is often dependent on the underlying hardware of your device. Most modern devices will play video of any reasonable size with ease.
Low powered devices can have issues with 4K content. e.g. 4K video files will not play on a Firestick Lite.
