Does AbleSign work offline?
Yes, AbleSign works perfectly when offline. Your device will continue to display your content even if internet connectivity is entirely lost.
What happens to playlist changes whilst the device is offline?
Any changes you make to the playlist will be picked up when connectivity is restored.
How does offline playback work?
Whenever you make a change to a playlist, the device will download all the necessary media files to its local storage. Your device does not stream the media in it’s playlist – it always plays back from local storage.
Can I leave the device without an internet connection long term?
Yes, the device will happily play your playlist but it will not be able to pick up any changes you make. You can periodically connect the device to the internet to allow it to check for changes.
